Alter Forms

Alter Forms is a new ceramic series that explores precision, geometry, and organic motion using porcelain. Beginning on the potter's wheel, classic cylinder forms are thrown, sliced diagonally, and carefully reassembled with opposing faces to form intricate angles. By altering and shifting the traditional center line, each piece gains a striking sense of upward movement.

The surface of each sculpture is treated with a combination of dipped and sprayed pigmented glazes building a rich tactile texture and structural depth—transforming wheel-thrown symmetry into complex, fluid expressions of form and space.
